DeLisle Christmas

Here are a few pictures taken last week at the DeLisle Christmas celebration.  The baby in the picture is one of the newest babies in the DeLisle family.  Another one (Grayson) was born just a few days after.  The kids had a great time celebrating the holiday with their second cousins, aunts and uncles.  We can't wait to see them again.  I just hope it isn't a whole year that passes in between.  I am hoping to get our family Christmas pictures on here soon.  Been a little busy putting together toys and putting batteries in new toys.

Hanging of the greens

All the cousins came over for an afternoon of Christmas crafts.  Although, it seemed as though Heidi and Aaron did much of the work for some of the crafts...it was fun and I hope to do it every year.

More Sh-tuff...

The kids and I have been keeping busy making Christmas candy, cookies, crafts, cakes, cards, and so on.  It has been very stressful fun keeping with the traditions of the season.  It is really exciting that they are remembering things we did last year and in years past.  Makes it all worth while.  I have had a blast making all the holiday meals this year as well.  I am blessed to have kids who tell me on a daily basis (and a husband too) that they appreciate and LOVE my cooking.  I am also blessed that nobody is picky.  Don't think I would enjoy preparing meals quite as much if I had kids that picked around their plates.  I still have several pictures to upload of the craft party I hosted with the cousins.  I hope to make this an annual holiday activity as well.  Life is too short not to share it with family and close friends.

More Hodge Podge

Another one of my newest favorite pictures.  Don't mind the fall pictures.  I can't believe I never posted any of them.  They are pictures taken on one of my favorite days with the kids.  It was the last day before all the leaves were off the last of the trees.  We spent the day raking leaves and throwing them, burying each other and trying to build leaf towers.  It was one of my favorite memories with the kids...I hope it was one of theirs too...

This, that and the other

I know, I know, I know...I don't even know where to begin.  I have really been bad about this family blog thingy.  Anyway, here are some new pictures of the kids.  My favorite are the pictures of Trevor reading to McKenna (totally unscripted) and the ones of McKenna holding the ornament, and the two at the end of Caleb.  What a cutie.  He is still struggling with hives and such.  Thanks so Mimi, we have some homeopathic stuff we are trying from Susan's World.  We will see how this helps or not.  It actually seems to have made a little difference.  This last batch of hives seems to have been stopped in its' tracks.  He only developed two little spots as opposed to 10-20 HUGE ones.  If and when I find some time, I will post some pictures from the hive episode.  He didn't even look like himself.  The only bad thing about these hives is that he has developed some extremely CrAzY behavior with them.  He won't give any eye contact, he screams, punches, kicks and bites.  Good times.  Oh well...it could always be worse, right?  I have it easier than most, I suppose.  Hope you enjoy the new pictures.
