McKenna Benna

OK. So these pictures were taken over Labor Day weekend, and I am just getting around to looking at them. How cute is she? I absolutely adore these pictures of McKenna. She isn't looking so good these days, as she is fighting off the flu, an ear infection and probable strep throat. We will see tomorrow as Aaron is taking her to the doctor. I swear, I am going to have to go back to work to support all these sick kids. The copays and the costs of the medicines are enough to make a sister broke. Geez. And to think...we haven't even hit flu season yet. I hate to think of the next several months. Our hands are so dried up and cracked from washing and sanitizing. All for what? I might as well let me kids eat and drink after strangers. They have been consistently sick for the last few months. I know, it could be worse. There are worse things in life than this, but I just feel so bad for them and wish I could make it all better.

Here are the rest of the birthday pics. I love the balloon one where we tied our prayers to be lifted to God. The kids loved this and I had a great time writing out our prayer requests. What a new and special tradition to start with the helium balloons left over from a party. That way, we are sure God is getting our messages.

And the picture of Trevor playing his new Nintendo DS and the cell phone on the table...I can only imagine him at fifteen. I'm sure it will happen at the blink of an eye. But, I can only imagine...

Happy Birthday Trevor

I can't believe Trevor is five years old today. Where does the time go? It has been a wild and crazy five years, but I would not change them for the world. Here are a few of the pictures. I hope to get through some more in the next week or so. Kids are doing better, although they are still requiring round the clock breathing treatments and are still coughing, but that never goes away quickly. Coughs linger. Let's just hope steroid-like behavior doesn't. We had a wonderful time with the family. And are now looking forward to the holidays as well. We are so fortunate and lucky to have one another. God blesses us in so many ways.

Natalie's Party

These are kind of old, but are the pictures I took in the bounce house at Natalie's birthday party a few weeks ago. The kids had a blast jumping in this thing. I love how dirty Caleb's feet are in the pics. Aaron loves Trevor's "prison pose" in the picture of him and Caleb in the weeds. Too funny.

About Me
